Sonder,
a poetic word, is apparently not a real word, but a product of a tumblr
post.
However, it has caught the imagination of many. But what is a real word anyway ?
Does reverse engineering an etymology make it more real ?

Didn't the early writers create words to their liking and haven't some of them become part of our shared vocabulary ?
Will this become an approved word if
5,000 people use it, more than twice a week ?

Or, are we to restrain from creating more symbols for ideas that
can be explained and elaborated in prose ?
Or is it meaningless to call
a ' word ' poetic ?
sonder, n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own
